Who Is Above All Home Companion Care
Above All Home Companion Care is a service-based business in Western Oklahoma that helps Senior Citizens in our area to maintain their independence. Many times our elderly parents don’t really want to leave the home they lived in for 50 years. Though we know that the older they get the more at risk they are for getting hurt or worse from falls and other accidents. There are scammers who would prey on your mom’s good-hearted nature. There are dangers in the world that we often just can’t fathom. Then you add the debilitating effects of loneliness on an elderly person’s mind and it can become downright scary.
So how do we protect our parents from all that the world will throw at us? That is where our services come into play. We sit and visit with our clients we interact with them. We don’t treat them as a piece of furniture, but as the human being, they are.
Our Journey started 7 years ago when Burl Stricker realized that the companion care company he was with wasn’t being run right. So he started up his own companion care service and called it Above All Home care. He has been able to get it up and it has been his passion project for all this time.
Burl wants the elderly to be able to maintain their dignity and live their life on their terms. They realize they are getting older and unwanted changes are going to happen.
If your mom can live in her house for another 2 years, what would that mean to her? What would that mean to you? Now add that she would be able to do so and be safe. Now, add the fact that someone is checking on her on a regular basis, helping her do her cooking cleaning, and making sure that her medication is taken. All while still being stimulated intellectually by conversations and human interaction.
What services do we do
Above All Home Companion Care is a multifaceted service company. Our major focus is on the companion/sitter service. However, we do more than just that.
